Greetings from the Ridge:

Thank you for supporting your students during this very challenging year.  We were so happy to partner with you to get them to the finish line. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing some of our students return to in-person learning this spring. It truly brought life back into the building. Your students worked hard and were impressive in every way.  We were able to observe their perseverance, drive to achieve, diligence to complete their tasks, and their special connection to our staff members.

I am hopeful that you have plans to relax this summer and enjoy your family and friends. With the state loosening up the restrictions, I hope you get outside and enjoy some fresh air and outdoor activities. The administrative team is already working on plans for next year, and we will reflect together about this year and what we need to do to better serve your children.

Here are some creative ideas to do with your family; plant a garden, have a picnic, fly a kite, go camping in your backyard, go on a scavenger hunt in your neighborhood, go on bike rides or walks, and simply enjoy the outdoors with homemade sweet tea or lemonade.

I am looking forward to seeing you again in August.  Take good care of yourself and your family.
