Attention Senior Students: Mid-Year Reports to Colleges/Universities  This year, as in years past, all HCPSS will send mid-year reports to all colleges for which students have previously requested a transcript.  This will automatically be done after February 17 and will include 1st Quarter, 2nd Quarter, and Mid Term Exam grades.  Please know that colleges may give a deadline for mid-year reports, but they do understand that all school systems do not follow the same grade reporting calendar and will accept mid-year reports after their deadline.

2019-20 Course Requests: School counselors will meet with all 9th – 11th grade students to review course requests and credit checks January 29 – February 13.

2nd Quarter Report Cards will be distributed to students during Period 3 on Thursday, February 7.

Leadership U Class of 2019  Are you thinking of college for your child?  Let Leadership U help your current sophomore build the skills that will help them succeed!  Leadership U can provide him or her a memorable week-long program of leadership development, networking, and community awareness.  Beginning the end of July and continuing through the fall of their junior year with nine Sunday afternoon group meetings, LU will give your child the opportunity to build their network, strengthen their leadership skills, meet new students, and work on a community service project of their choice.  Come learn more and speak to some of our grads at one of our final two information sessions:  February 11 at Central Library or March 7 at Miller Library, both from 7-8pm.  Parents and students in both 9th and 10th grade are encouraged to attend.  Additional information is available at http://www.leadershiphc.org/leadership-u-2/  or email Meg Ignacio mignacio@leadershiphc.org.   Online applications are due March 14, 2019.
