Concussion Testing All student athletes must have concussion testing prior to the first practice (except for Golf and Cross Country). Concussion testing is good for 2 years. Testing will be held in the Media Center computer lab under the direction of the Athletic Trainer, Carly Hayes, on the following dates:

Pre-Participation Sports Physical Student athletes are required to submit a Pre-participation Physical Evaluation Form prior to participating in tryouts. This evaluation must be dated after April 1, 2017. If you still need a sports physical, the following opportunities may be helpful.
When: Saturdays, July 29 and August 5 from 9 a.m. to Noon
Where: University of Maryland Faculty Physicians, Inc. Immediate Care Building, 5890 Waterloo Road, Columbia (Rt 108 & Snowden Parkway)
Cost: $20 (cash and credit accepted)
Walk-ins are welcome; no appointment necessary.
When: Sunday, August 6 from 8 a.m. to Noon
Where: MedStar Sports Medicine, 9501 Old Annapolis Rd., Ste 220, Ellicott City
Cost: $30 (cash and check only)

Girls Golf Team is in need of participants to join the team. We presently have two girls registered to tryout, but need four to compete in matches. If you have an interest and background in playing gold, please contact Coach Dubbs via email at mark_dubbs@hcpss.org. Tryouts will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 15 & 16 at Waverly Wood Golf Club.
