MRHS Parents/Guardians,

Support the AfterProm Event

Over the course of the past few weeks, many students have purchased tickets for prom and After Prom. The administration and PTSA are asking you to encourage your junior/senior son or daughter to attend the MRHS After Prom and not host parties of your own. There will be plenty of food and awesome prizes at the After Prom celebration.  After Prom is open to all MRHS Junior and Senior students . . . attendance at Prom is not required to attend the After Prom.

As you know, we spent the last few weeks educating our students on the dangers of distracted driving. Distracted driving often occurs as a result of poor decisions and judgments students make.  Our students are particularly vulnerable at this time of year.

We are fortunate to live in a community where so many community members, businesses, and parents volunteer their time and money to this worthy cause.  Please encourage all seniors and those underclassmen that are attending prom, to attend the After Prom celebration.  It is a fun and safe way to spend the evening and be able to enjoy a wonderful occasion. Our PTSA is doing everything possible to make the hours following the prom safe and memorable for all students who attend, so please work with us to send them to After Prom.

Please join me in thanking Ms. Karen Chase who is spearheading our After Prom celebration.  This is a huge undertaking and we are thankful for the incredible job that she and the committee chairs have done.

Tickets are $10 and available during lunch shifts this week.  A signed waiver is required and these forms are available on the PTSA website.
