Class Council Applications due May 10  Students interested in running for Class Council should complete and submit an application packet by Friday, May 10th.  Packets can be found online at this link or copies can be picked up in the media center.  Please see Mrs. Patterson in room 336 or Mrs. Rashid in the media center if you have any questions!

 

PROM SAFETY WEEK – April 29-May 3

Officer Willingham will be holding activities throughout the lunch shifts reminding students to have a happy, healthy, and safe Prom.  All students are encouraged to participate in the activities   The Prom Safety activities include:

  • Signing a Prom Promise (throughout the week)
  • The Quick Click Challenge (Tuesday 4/30)
  • Save A Life Tour Driving Simulator in the Commons (Wednesday 5/1)
  • Two wrecked vehicles at the student lot entrances (throughout the week)

 

 

BOOK DRIVE  The Social Studies National Honor Society is sponsoring a book drive for a Howard County elementary school in need.   “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you’ll go.”— Dr. Seuss, “I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!”  Books should be new or in like new condition.  Students may drop off books in Mr. Malt's classroom (room 200) or bring them to the front office.

 

 

 

 

 

Advance tickets will be on sale during lunches on May 9 & 10.

 

 

Help request for Homewood!

Homewood is the only alternate middle/high school for students with emotional/behavioral needs in HCPSS. They don’t have their own PTA so they are requesting help from the rest of us in the Howard County School System
