Attention Freshman Parents/Guardians
Mid-Term Exam Informational Parent Meeting Tonight at 7 p.m. in the MRHS Media Center hosted by the Ninth Grade Team. Parents will receive general information about exams, as well as tips for helping students prepare.
Have you ordered PE Uniforms for Second Semester Classes? Reminder that semester two Lifetime Fitness classes begin in three weeks. All students in physical education classes are required to change into a grey t-shirt and navy blue shorts. As a fundraiser, we offer a Dri-Fit uniform. Uniforms may be purchased online or by check; students may order more than one set. All orders will be distributed in PE classes at the start of second semester. Ten percent of all proceeds will be donated to MRHS Physical Education department. All orders are optional and items are $12.00 each plus sales. Senior Events Speech Auditions We need students for a variety of speaking positions at this year's commencement ceremony and Farewell and Awards Assembly! All interested students are encouraged to submit a written speech to the Media Center on or before February 10th at 7:25 AM. Guidelines and requirements for speech auditions can be found using the link below or on the Senior Information page of the MRHS website. Please contact Mrs. Rashid in the Media Center or via email with questions.
Baltimore Science Fair If you are interested in participating in the Baltimore Science Fair, the online application for the Baltimore Science Fair is now open! The application process began on January 1, 2017 and applications will be accepted until they reach 198 exhibits or March 9, 2017 at 12:00 pm (whichever occurs first).
Students interested in participating in the competition should apply online. The Baltimore Science Fair will be held on March 25 & 26, 2017 at Towson University in the University Union Building. Mustang Flea Market Donations Needed: Please Save Unwanted Items Marriotts Ridge High School Music Department is gearing up for their annual Flea Market Fund Raiser. Please hold onto your unwanted items to donate to the music department’s biggest fund raiser. We will have collection dates on: Saturday Feb. 11 and Feb. 18, 2017 and Friday Feb. 24, 2016. Mark it on your calendar and come out with your donations. The Flea Market will be held on Saturday Feb. 25, 2017. We look forward to seeing you! Click here to see the flyer.
Welcome Class of 2021! The Hitching Post will open on Thursday, January 5 at 6:30 p.m. just prior to the New Student Parent Orientation. Show your school spirit and support the Marriotts Ridge Boosters at the same time. We have a large selection of Mustang spirit wear items to choose from . . . hoodies, sweatpants, t-shirts, UnderArmour, hats and more! The school store is located in the Commons area near the stairway. 100% of store profits are donated to the Marriotts Ridge Boosters who support all student groups including athletics, clubs and fine arts.
