We are excited to be celebrating our seniors for several end of the year festivities.  One of those exciting events for juniors and seniors is prom. As you already know, prom will be held on May 14th from 7:00-11:00 PM at the Hilton Inner Harbor.  Some reminders about prom are listed below. All HCPSS policies are in effect.

Dance Information

·       All prom attendees will need a photo ID to get into the dance. A student’s Synergy photo can be used in lieu of a state or school issued ID.

·       No admittance after 8 PM; there is a mistake on the tickets.

·       Parking at the Hilton is $35.  

·       Ride shares should drop off at the bus loop on Pratt or Eutaw Streets.

·       All bags must be checked at bag check.

·       Students attending AfterProm should bring a change of clothes to check at the Hilton. Formal wear bags can be checked at AfterProm.

·       Appetizers served 7:00- 9:30, Desserts served 7:00 - 10:30, Drinks served all night. 

AfterProm is a great way to celebrate, safely, with friends. I encourage you to speak with your students and encourage them to attend AfterProm. A tremendous amount of work, from our PTSA AfterProm committee, has gone into planning this fun event for our students.  There will be food, games, awesome prizes, etc.  My goal is for students to celebrate safely and that includes not hosting or attending parties at private homes. Your students will have a great time at AfterProm.  See the details below.

PTSA AfterProm at the Main Event at the Mall in Columbia 11PM-2AM

Tickets are on sale through May 7th. Purchase tickets here. 
AfterProm tickets are $22 without the bus and $25 with the bus. Both are cheaper than parking at the Hilton!
Buses depart the Main Event at 6:30 PM for the Hilton. Check in begins at 6:15 PM.
Buses start leaving prom at 10:30 PM, in intervals until 11:15pm. Pick your time to leave!
Formal wear bags can be checked at the bag check. 
Students can expect bowling, laser tag, games, food and great prizes!
Prizes include cash, Samsung tablet, Airpods, a mini refrigerator and much more. 
This event is a safe and FUN way for the students to continue partying after prom.
