Mustangs in Conversation is an initiative I drew up that is based on Georgetown’s Coffee and Chat program. Mustangs in Conversation has an incoming/new MRHS student fill out a google form with his/her/their interests and/or things about MRHS they want to learn more about. Based on the interests selected by the new student and a current MRHS NHS member, a new student would be matched with a current MRHS student. From there, the two would get in contact with each other and the current MRHS student would answer all of the questions the new student has. The idea with this initiative is to have a new student find a connection at MRHS, something I think will be valuable, especially in this virtual environment.
Here is the link to the google form that new students will use to sign up: https://forms.gle/
The Black Student Achievement Program’s (BSAP) Saturday Math Academy (SMA) Fall 2020 registration has been postponed until September 26, 2020.
In these unprecedented and challenging times, we recognize the competing priorities in the lives of our students, families and staff. We also understand that accessing and engaging in virtual learning at the home school is paramount. As a result, further information regarding the BSAP SMA will be provided as it is available. We will continuously assess the needs of our students and staff.
We apologize for any inconvenience that this postponement may have caused.

PTSA Meeting - Monday, September 14 @ 6:30 pm
Dear MRHS PTSA Community,
In order to vote to approve the 2020-21 PTSA budget, the PTSA will need to hold an "in-person" meeting, which will be this coming Monday, September 14th.
Also, the PTSA Executive Committee and Mrs. Goldeisen received a letter of resignation from the current PTSA President, Patty Gans, last week. She will not be able to continue in this role, so Joanna Ramos-Romero, the current 2nd VP, has been nominated for the position of PTSA President. According to the by-laws, we are required to take nominations from the floor, then we can vote to elect the new MRHS PTSA President.
Only persons who were PTSA members during the 2019-20 school will be allowed to vote on these items, BUT NEW MEMBERS ARE WELCOME TO COME & HEAR WHAT’S HAPPENING WITH MRHS PTSA!
Please join us for an "In-person" PTSA meeting at MRHS!
When: Monday, September 14th, 6:30pm
Where: Marriotts Ridge HS, on sidewalk area outside front door by the bus loop (facing Route 99)
What to bring: a lawn chair, mask and a positive attitude!
Hope to see you there! Go MUSTANGS!
