For a second year in a row, HCPSS was named one of America’s Best Employers for Diversity for 2020 by Forbes magazine. HCPSS is No. 168 overall on the national list of 500 employers.

Nominations Open for Friends of Education Award
The award, established by the Howard County Board of Education, recognizes individuals, businesses, non-profit groups, organizations or associations who have made exemplary contributions to Howard County public education. The nomination deadline is Monday, February 24.

General Council meetings, open to the public, are held every other month to review various health, safety and wellness policies and programs, make recommendations, and provide input.

Volunteer at the Science Olympiad

Volunteers are needed to assist with set up, registration, event judging and in other roles at the 2nd Annual Eastern Regional Science Olympiad competition.

Parents and students in grades 4-12 are invited to an engaging and informative workshop on social media on Saturday, January 25, cosponsored by HCPSS and The Council of Elders.
