HCPSS Schools Recognized for 2019 Seat Belt Challenge Participation

Six high schools recently were recognized for taking part in the spring 2019 Making It Click Maryland Seat Belt Challenge, with leadership and support from their Students Against Destructive Decisions groups and School Resource Officers.

The agenda includes guest speakers and discussions on Naviance, Synergy, Canvas and the HCPSS website. CAC meetings are open to the public.

 

Howard County Association of Student Councils Meeting (HCASC)

 

Wednesday, September 11, 7-8:30 p.m., Homewood Center

All middle and high school students interested in serving the community and gaining leadership skills are invited to attend the monthly meetings of the HCASC.

 

Empowering Parents as Partners Conference

 

Saturday, October 12, 8:45 a.m.–1:05 p.m., Howard High School

This conference will help both seasoned parents and those new to the IEP process to advocate for their child and be active, informed members of the IEP team.
