On Time and Present for 2 Weeks!  Congratulations to the following students who were rewarded with Dunkin’ Donuts gift cards for being on time and present for the period April 1-12:  Lacee Adams, Maryam Fatima, Julia Greene, Arya Habibi, Katie Kressen, Jillian Krownapple, Joshua Lee, Kelsea McFerrin, Jeffrey Nubuga, Zach Rotter, Max Ruther, Aubrie Trotman, Alyssa Wagner, and Massai White.   

Be sure to be at school and on time by 7:25 a.m. each day so you can be eligible to win!  The next drawing will take place on May 3 for the period April 23-May 3.

 

 

2019 “Starry Night” AfterProm Party

Ticket Sales April 23-26 during all lunch shifts

$10 plus signed 2-page waiver for each attendee

All Juniors & Seniors are invited to come to our 2019 “Starry Night” AfterProm party! You do not have to attend Prom to come to this AfterProm event. Your approved prom date/guest is also able to attend with you.

Don’t miss out on the great food, prizes, and awesome activities including Family Feud, Toilet Bowl Races, Money & Prize wheels, Criss-Cross Collision Course, Minute to Win It activities, carnival games and much more!

Tickets for AfterProm, as well as one-way bus transportation from the Marriott to Glenwood Community Center, will go on sale Tuesday, April 23rd through Friday, April 26th during all lunch shifts. Look for our ticket sale table in the Commons!

After Prom tickets are $10. Each attendee, including prom guests, must have a completed & signed 2-page waiver form (form also found on MRHS PTSA website) in order to purchase tickets. Bus tickets from Baltimore to Glenwood are an additional $10 each. Checks should be made payable to MRHS PTSA.

“Know Your Car” Clinic for Teen Drivers

Tuesday, April 16 from 12-3 p.m.

in the Marriotts Ridge HS parking lot

The Howard County Department of Police, in collaboration with the Mid-Atlantic Foundation for Safety and Education (AAA affiliate), will be hosting the first “Know Your Car” Clinic for new drivers between the ages of 16-18. This program was developed by MRHS SRO, PFC Mike Willingham with the MAFSE to help teen drivers become more familiar with the vehicle they drive.   Drivers will pull into a lane and meet with a HoCo Police Officer to complete a checklist that will cover distracted driving, seat belts, driving positions, vehicle blind spots, simple maintenance and fluid identification. This is FREE clinic, and upon completion, student drivers have the opportunity to enter a raffle to win a $50 VISA gift card.

 

Graduation Tickets: Students will receive 8 graduation tickets.  If you would like to obtain additional tickets, please use this link to submit your request no later than Monday, May 6, 2019.

Handicap Seating: This request form is for guests who cannot easily navigate the stairs at the pavilion and will need to be seated at floor level. Please submit your request no later than Monday, May 6, 2019.
