Parking in the Merriweather vicinity is extremely limited. In order to make the parking process as smooth as possible we ask that families and guests be aware of the following:
- Follow the map to the assigned lots. The team at MPP has a plan in place that provides for guests to arrive as other lots are still vacating, but it will only work if guests go to assigned lots.
- Graduates and families should park only in the numbered parking lot(s) or the lot(s) designated with a blue P on the parking map for their school. (Note that P’s and numbered lots vary by school depending on the time of the graduation.) We appreciate graduates and families parking only in those areas designated for their school’s graduation, as that will allow for the most efficient traffic flow for all ceremonies.
- Lot 1 is reserved for cars with disability placards or license plates.
- Expect to walk (Rain or Shine); even the ADA parking is located some distance from the seating.
- Carpool whenever possible as parking spaces are limited. Graduates are advised to ride with their families.
- MPP Event Staff are there to assist and truly want every guest to arrive on time. They have up to date knowledge of available spaces; please respect the direction they provide.
- Graduates and families should plan to arrive no more than 60 minutes, and no less than 30 minutes, before the ceremony.
