January 23-26, 2018

Tuesday, 1/23 – Period 1 Exam (full day of school)

Wed., 1/24 – Periods 2 & 3 Exams (No PM ARL; 3-hr early dismissal)

Thurs., 1/25 – Periods 4A & 4B Exams  (No AM ARL; 3-hr early dismissal)

Fri., 1/26 – Periods 5 & 6 Exams  (No AM ARL; 3-hr early dismissal)

The 9th Grade Team will host an informational meeting on midterm exams for parents of 9th graders on Thursday, January 4th at 7 pm in the Media Center. Topics will include: the importance of midterm exams, time management strategies and study strategies. Please note that course specific review sheets will not be provided. Questions? 9 Grade Midterm Madness

January 16-19, 2018

9th Grade Midterm Madness will be held the week prior to exams; review sessions will begin at 2:15 p.m.   All teachers of 9^th graders in science, math, English, and social studies classes are asked to host after-school review sessions for their students according to the following schedule:

• Tuesday, 1/16: Social Studies
• Wednesday, 1/17: Science
• Thursday, 1/18: Math
• Friday, 1/19: English

 

8^th Grade Parent Orientation Night

Thursday, January 11, 2018*

7-9 p.m. in the Auditorium

Topics include graduation requirements, Grade 9 course offerings, registration process, and more!  (*Snow date will be January 16)

 

Midterm Madness Care Packages

Let your son or daughter know that you are thinking about him/her during Midterms!  The Mustang African American Awareness Club (MAAAC) is offering hand packed care packages filled with energizing goodies, items to help them study, as well as a personalized note from you, if you desire.   The cost is $10 per care package.  Proceeds will help MAAAC fund community outreach activities.  Order forms may be drpped off in Student Services, Attn: Mrs. Green – order deadline is January 19.  Package will be distributed to students on 1/23.
