The Marriotts Ridge Community has been invited by the Parents of African American Students of Mt. Hebron High to a Private showing of the movie –

“ The RACE”  the story of Jessie Owens

 Saturday, March 12th.,

 10:00 am.at the AMC Columbia Mall.

A message from the MRHS Environmental Club

Did you know....besides just the typical HoCo recycling of paper, plastic and metal, MRHS Environmental club also recycles:

-Used Batteries

-Used Markers (any type and any brand)

-Old Cell phones

-Used ink cartridges

Students may bring recycle items to room 234 and they will be happy to take care of them for you. Boxes can be found outside the door for markers and batteries. The boxes for the cell phones and ink cartridges are inside the classroom.

Leadership U – What’s your sophomore doing this summer?  Leadership U can provide him or her with a memorable week-long program of leadership development.  If your student is interested in meeting other Howard County students, community service, having fun, and developing their leadership skills, Leadership U may be the right fit for them.

Leadership U continues through the fall of their junior year with nine Sunday afternoon group meetings where students define, plan, and implement  a student-driven team community service project.
