Foundation for Music Education's Mark of Excellence Results
Last Spring, the Marriotts Ridge Symphonic Wind Ensemble entered the Foundation for Music Education's Mark of Excellence National Wind Band Honors competition. 525 schools from 40 States submitted recordings of performances from the 2025-2026 school year. These recordings were evaluated by a nationally acclaimed panel of adjudicators. The results were recently posted and Marriotts Ridge was named a Commended Winner. Noelle Hahn, Elle Hagan, Ethan Huang, Veronica Romero, Andrew W. Zhang were recognized as Outstanding Soloists. Tremendous achievement all around!
MRHS Named a Top 25 Engineering Source School
Marriotts Ridge High School has been named one of the A. James Clark School of Engineering's Top 25 Source Schools for the 2026-27 academic year. This recognition highlights the outstanding preparation, support, and opportunities provided to our students as they pursue engineering and STEM pathways beyond high school. Congratulations to our students, staff, and community on this achievement.

12/8 MVA Learner’s Permit Testing at MRHS
Registration Deadline of 11/23
-If you'll be 15 years and 9 months (or older) by December 8, 2026, you can register to take the MVA Learner's Permit Test here at Marriotts Ridge
-Students will be taking the pencil and paper test with an opportunity to retake the test immediately if a passing score is not achieved on the first attempt
-Interested students must complete the two forms linked below by 11/23:
