Summer Office Hours

The Front Office will be open 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.  If you have questions or need to meet with an administrator please call 410-313-5568 to schedule an appointment.

Student Services will reopen on Monday, July 17 with a limited staff and daily hours of 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.   If you have questions or need to schedule an appointment please call 410-313-5446 or email your counselor to ensure that somebody is available to assist you.

Final Exams and Student Obligations

If you still need to take a final exam, please call Mrs. Littlejohn at 410-313-5568 to schedule a time to come in and complete your exam.  If you have an outstanding obligation, please return your book(s) as soon as possible.  Any student with an obligation will have his or her course schedule withheld in August.   MRHS will mail schedules along with a welcome back letter to all families in mid-August.


Fall Sports

Online Registration for Fall Athletics is now open and available to register student athletes interested in trying out for a fall sport.  Parents/Guardians can now fill out required forms, upload physicals and proof of residency documents, and complete the eligibility process using HCPSS Connect.   Download the High School Athletic Registration User Guide for step-by-step instructions.   Student athletes will need to be registered prior to participating in tryouts which begin August 9.   We are hoping that many families will take advantage of this online submission process in order to reduce the paperwork.  Contact the team coach if you have questions about the registration process.

MRHS Fall Preseason Information Night will be held August 3 at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium.   This mandatory meeting is for parents/guardians and student athletes interesting in trying out for a fall sport.  You will receive information about tryouts, hear from the Activities and Athletics Manager, Coaches, and the Mustang Boosters President, and be able to confirm your child’s eligibility status.

The 2017 Howard County Fair is quickly approaching!

We are still in need of volunteers to help with

loading the trailer on 7/28 from 6-8 p.m.
booth build at the fair on 7/29 at 8 a.m.
booth tear down (8/13 at 8 a.m.)  

There are also a few remaining spots open for Adult Shift Managers and Booth Workers.

Please consider signing up to volunteer!

As is tradition, the Marriotts Ridge Boosters will be hosting the Fried Oreo booth at the HoCo Fair again this year.  The Oreo Booth is an important fundraiser for the Boosters and we need your support to make it a success.  The proceeds from the Oreo Booth go directly to the MRHS community in the form of funding for clubs, camps, activities, and athletics for all of Marriotts Ridge.  The 2017 Howard County Fair is August 5-12.  We need adults and students to help, no experience is necessary.  Students can receive community service hours for their time.  If you have any questions, please contact Bryan Hockensmith at or 410-336-1853.
