IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT AP EXAMS!!!

All exam candidates must attend a 30 minute pre-administration session during Mustang Time in the cafeteria:

Last names A-K – Wednesday, April 19, at 9:00 am

Last names L-Z – Wednesday, April 26, at 9:00 am

ATTENTION SENIORS !!!

The Greg Speelman $1,000 Scholarship is available to a Marriotts Ridge Senior who leads by example and responds with care towards the needs of others.  Candidates must be accepted and plan to attend a college or university and must have an unweighted 3.2 cumulative average GPA through Grade 11.  In addition, an unweighted GPA must be maintained through the first semester of Grade 12.  Information can be found on Naviance or in Student Services.  Applications are due to Mrs. Dubbs in Student Services by May 5.

 

HCC Project Access Summer Institute

Project Access is a transition and retention program located on the Howard Community College campus.  Project Access is aimed at helping high school students with disabilities get into college and succeed there.  Students completing grades 9-12 who will be receiving a high school diploma are eligible.  The dates of Project Access Summer Institute will be Monday-Friday, July 10-August 4, 2017.  The application process is ongoing and has been extended until April 21.  Applications can be found in Student Services.  For more information, contact the Project Access office at 443-518-4625 or email:

OUTSMART THE SAT

Learn a strategy for every question you’ll face on the new SAT at Catalyst’s two-day SAT Bootcamp.  

WHERE:  Centennial High School

WHEN:  9am-1pm on Saturday, April 22 & Sunday, April 23 (Students attend both days)

COST:  $175 – must enroll by Wednesday, April 19 at 6pm  (no walk-ins accepted)

Students receive Catalyst’s SAT prep book, bonus online prep, diagnostic tests, and copies of essays that earned perfect scores on the actual new SAT.

WOMEN IN AERONAUTICS AND ASTRONAUTICS – The University of Maryland’s Women In Aeronautics and Astronautics and the Department of Aerospace Engineering invite all female high school students interested in Engineering Math & Science to WIAA Day.
