Care Packages for Troops Overseas   

The Social Studies National Honor Society is collecting items for care packages to send to troops overseas!  Items can be dropped off to Mr. Malt in room 200 until February 10.   Items needed: 

Protein Bars * Handwitten Letters * Soccer/Basketballs * Candy * Toiletries * Beef Jerky * Chips/Pretzels * Cookies * Slim Jims * Soup * Ramen * Batteries * Peanut Butter * Crackers * Ziploc Bags * Hot Chocolate * Easy Mac * Trail Mix * Books * Flashlights * Hand Warmers * DVDs/Board Games * Undershirts

Please Help With This Worthwhile Cause!


SGA Winter Spirit Week & Wonderland Charity Dance – February 22-25

MRHS Student Government Association is planning a Winter Spirit Week to include dress-up days, a pep rally, and a Winter Wonderland Charity Dance.  The week is to take place from Wednesday, 2/22, through Friday, 2/24, with the dance onSaturday 2/25 at MRHS from 7-10 p.m.  Tickets are $10 with 50% of all sales going to the SGA school supply drive to benefit Howard County Middle Schools in need of supplies.  Additional school supply donations will be accepted during the week as well.  

Volunteers Needed to help the MRHS SGA sell tickets to their Winter Wonderland Charity Dance during lunches on Feb. 22, 23, and 24.   Please use the link below to volunteer your time!


Student Book Club will meet on Feb. 27 after school in the media center to discuss, Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. It’s never too late to join the Book Club!  See Mrs. Rashid in the media center if you need a copy or have any questions.

After School Activity Bus departs MRHS on Thursdays at 4p.m.  Sign-up to ride . . .
