PSAT Parent Night – TONIGHT, Jan. 31

7 p.m. at Long Reach High School, 6101 Old Dobbin Ln., Columbia

Parents and students are invited to attend this PSAT information night and are encouraged to bring score reports with them.


HCPSS SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM  The HCPSS Summer School Course Catalog is now available!  Registration for Summer School begins this Wednesday, February 1st, at midnight.  Many classes fill up quickly, so be sure to register as soon as possible.

University of Maryland – Terp Young Scholars Program – July 9–28, 2017

The Young Scholars Program invites college-bound high school students to an outstanding pre-college experience at the University of Maryland.

EARLY COLLEGE PROGRAM IN CYBERSECURITY  Are you a 9th grader interested in computers? If so, the Early College Program in Cybersecurity may be for you! This program begins in 10th grade and is based out of the ARL. An information session will be held on Wednesday, February 1st, from 6:30-8pm in Duncan Hall, room 100, on Howard Community College’s Campus.  For more information or to RSVP visit
