MRHS Winter Dance Concert . . . 7PM  Friday, Dec. 9

CANCELLATION . . . . The HOLIDAY BAZAAR scheduled for this Saturday, December 10 at Marriotts Ridge, has been cancelled due to low vendor turnout.  As an alternative, we encourage you to support the Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, December 17 at Glenelg High School from 8AM-1PM. This event is hosted by the GHS Delta Scholars.

FUNDRAISERS

NHS Toy Drive  The National Honor Society students are collecting Toys for Tots to be donated through the West Friendship Volunteer Fire Department.    Students should bring donated toys to their 6th period classes or to Room 305.  Classes that bring in the most toys will be recognized.   Deadline for Toys-4-Tots is December 15th; after that date, any toys donated will go to the Grassroots Emergency Shelter.

Have you returned your Restaurant Raffle ticket stubs?

You have 6 days to send in your raffle ticket stubs!  The drawing is Friday, December 16th!

Get your stubs in before 11:00 a.m. and we will include it in the drawing.

Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to win gift certificates to several area restaurants.

Somebody will win … it could be you, but only if you return your ticket stubs!

Need more tickets?  See Mrs. Romero in the front office.

The PTSA counts on your support so please send in those ticket stubs! Proceeds to benefit PTSA sponsored activities such as . . . supporting drug/alcohol-free activities through guest speakers and After Prom, Reflections Art Program, Academic Achievement through student scholarships, advocacy and more!

Remember: All tickets are good – numbered, not numbered – it doesn’t matter!

The Art Department Needs!!
As you are preparing for the holidays, perhaps making space or downsizing you can help out the art department with some things that you may be getting rid of.

Most urgently, we need some beanbag chairs for a sculpture piece that Art III is working on.
In addition we can use:

35 mm film cameras (age is not an issue - older cameras such as Cannon AE1 and Minolta T1000 are excellent!)
point and shoot digital cameras
tools (hand and power)

Shop the Hitching Post for gifts that will show their school spirit!  And support the Marriotts Ridge Boosters at the same time.  The Hitching Post will be open before the upcoming Winter Concerts on December 14th and 15th from 5:45pm - 6:45pm.

We have plenty of Mustang spirit wear items including hoodies, T-shirts, UnderArmour, sweatpants, hats and more.  The store is located in the Commons area near the stairway.  Join us to rev up some holiday cheer before enjoying a wonderful school concert.
