SGA Food and Funds Drive 
MRHS and the SGA are participating in the Kids Helping Kids Food and Funds Drive for the Maryland Food Bank during the month of October.  We are one of the top donors in the county last year and need your help to achieve our goal this year!   Send in canned and non-perishable items with your student this week or drop off in the front office.

Shakespeare Club Seeks Used Books

Shakespeare Club will be collecting used books from Oct. 24 – Nov. 11 to be sold to students and parents during MRHS’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.   Donation boxes are located in every English classroom and in the Front Office.  All proceeds and books not sold will be donated to the Maryland Book Bank. 


MRHS Fall Concession Sign-Up 
PLAYOFFS are here! Field Hockey playoff is scheduled for October 27 – MRHS vs Wilde Lake at 3:30 in the stadium!  GOOD LUCK LADIES!! We are looking for volunteers to work the concession stand.  We also need volunteers for our Senior Games in Volleyball (Oct. 25) and Football (Nov. 4)!  Thanks in advance and GO MUSTANGS!

Student Volunteer Opportunity – Earn Service Hours!

Mount View Middle School is looking for high school students to volunteer their time to help middle school students with basic English and Math homework.  Student volunteers would meet after school at Mount View on Tuesdays (English) and/or Thursdays (Math) from 2:30-3:30 p.m.  Volunteers do not need to attend every session, but may attend as often as they would like.  Meeting dates are listed below.  If you are interested, please email Mrs. Remmel at

English will meet on the following Tuesdays from 2:30 - 3:30:
Nov. 1, 15, 29, Dec. 6, 13, Jan. 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, Feb. 7, 14

Math will meet on the following Thursdays from 2:30 - 3:30:
