Not sure about a college decision? You can still order a banner, there is no pressure to put the name of any particular college on your child’s banner.  Just say, “Good Luck!” or “We love you!” or “Reach for the stars!” or ANY WORDING of your choosing.

The cost is $35 per banner.  Orders are due by March 30, 2018.

The order form can be found here and on the PTSA website at

https://www.marriottsridgeptsa.org/Senior_Banner_2018_Order_Form.pdf.

Banner pick up will be after the Farewell Assembly.  Any banners not picked up at that time, will be included with the student's senior packet.  All profits will be donated to the PTSA.  Questions regarding the banners can be directed to Leigh McIntyre at leighmcintyre@verizon.net.

What’s your sophomore doing this summer? Leadership U can provide him or her with a unique week-long program of leadership development.  If your student is interested in building their professional network, community service, meeting student leaders from all over the county, having fun, and developing and strengthening their leadership skills, Leadership U may be the right fit for them.  Leadership U continues through the fall of their junior year with nine Sundayafternoon group meetings where students define, plan, and implement a student-driven team community service project.  Students put their leadership skills into ACTION!    LU APPLICATIONS ARE DUE THURSDAY, MARCH 15th.  Applications and information are available at http://www.leadershiphc.org/leadership-u-2/  or contact Meg Ignacio at mignacio@leadershiphc.org.

After Prom Planning is Underway! After Prom is an event held at the Glenwood Community Center from 11:30 p.m. – 3:30 a.m. after the May 12Prom.  The MRHS PTSA plans this fun-filled event to provide a safe place for kids to continue the fun after the Prom.  It’s a great way to get involved and meet some other parents.  There will be many volunteer roles (i.e. setting up games, checking kids in, helping to run activities, serving food . . . and many more)!   We will be sending out a volunteer signup link soon. We can only be successful if we have plenty of volunteers.  Many more details to come!  AfterProm contact person is Karen Chase @ 410.531.9818 or kmchase24@comcast.net

Thank you to those families who have already sent in their $25 donation for Twenty-Five to Arrive Alive to support this program!

Next MRHS PTSA Meeting will be Monday, April 16 at 7pm in Student Services. Join us!
