ARL SHADOW DAYS – November 7-9 for Students in Grades 9 & 10

DEADLINE to submit Permission Form is FRIDAY, OCTOBER 27

If you are interested in exploring any of the academies listed below please fill out the appropriate permission slip (available in Student Services) and return to Ms. Nelson in Student Services by October 27th.  Attending a Shadow Day can play an important role in a student’s decision making as they go through the scheduling process for next school year.  Remember that the academies are countywide programs and some Academies fill up quickly.

Below are the dates for the academy specific Shadow Days:

Tuesday, Nov 7th Morning (period 1 and 2) - 10th graders only /

• Construction Management
• Biotechnology, 
• Computer Essentials-Cybersecurity,
• Homeland Security and Emergency Management,
• Animation & Interactive Media

Tuesday Nov 7th Afternoon (periods 5 and 6) – 10th graders only

• Health Professions (Certified Nursing Assistant and EMT),
• Hotel & Restaurant Management

Wednesday, Nov 8th (periods 1 and 2) - 10th graders only

• Computer Networking-Cybersecurity,
• Architectural Design,
• Academy of Finance,
• Graphic Design,
• Automotive Technology,
• Systems and Project Engineering 

 Thursday, Nov 9th (periods 1 and 2)- current 9th graders only  

• Early College Program in Cybersecurity   
• Aerospace Engineering-PLTW
