Spring Sportsmanship Meetings

Thursday, March 9 at 7p.m.

One parent/guardian of each Spring student-athlete is expected to attend.  Coaches will hold individual team meetings; room locations will be:

  • Softball/Cafeteria
  • Track/Commons
  • Baseball/Media Center
  • Girls Lacrosse/Rm 116
  • Boys Lacross/Rm 204
  • Tennis/Rm 222

PTSA Meeting – 3/9 @ 7PM in Student Services

AFTER PROM NEEDS YOU!  MRHS PTSA AfterProm committee will be holding a planning meeting on Tuesday, March 14th @ 7:00pm in Student Services.  Anyone looking to help in final planning and pre-event project work is encouraged to attend.   If you would like to volunteer but are unable to make the 3/14 meeting, please contact Karen Chase @ 410.531.9818 or as soon as possible.


PTSA Senior Scholarship application deadline has been extended until 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18 to allow seniors that are members of the MRHS PTSA some extra time during Spring Break to complete their application.   All applications MUST be submitted no later than 2:30 p.m. on April 18th.  There will be no further extensions or exceptions.  The application is available on the PTSA website at

MRHS Music Department’s 2ndAnnual Mattress Fundraiser

Saturday, March 25 from 10am-5pm  Name brand mattresses at up to  50% off retail, over 20 sets on display and a team of experts on hand to answer any questions, all while supporting the MRHS Music Program!  



Community Events of Interest

HoCo Association of Student Councils invites middle and high school students to attend their monthly meeting on March 8 from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Homewood Center Cafeteria.

  • Teen Advisory Council meets March 13 / 5:30pm at The Barn in Oakland Mills Village Center
  • Annual Senior Week: Staying Safe in Ocean City presentation on March 22 / 7pm at Atholton High School

Bright Minds Foundation’s 3rd Annual Strutting with the Staff  dance competition will be held March 22 from 7-9pm at the Jim Rouse Theater.  This annual event benefits the Bright Minds Foundation and the students of HCPSS.  Bright Minds Foundation has provided 1, 035 computers to students and awarded $118,000 in teacher grants!  Read more . . .
